We used this style photo as the main photo of the season, so we are thinking that this item is the main item of 20AW comm. arch. to some extent.

素材は、南フランスのアルル地方という場所に現存する、放羊農家の「幻のウール」と言われる希少なメリノ種の原毛を使用しております。他の国や地域のウールに比べ、優れた弾力性と膨らみが強いのが特徴です。

The material is from Arles in South France. This merino wool is called super rare merino wool as they look after merino sheep in the field freely without giving any stress.

Therefore the feeling of this wool is very smooth and spongy like which is good for this kind of fishermen’s sweater.

その特性を活かし、凹凸のあるフィッシャーマンセーター(縄編みニット)を製作しました。

他の素材でこのようなニットを作ると、もう少しペタッと平たくなるのですが、「幻のウール」だと凹凸がより鮮明に出るので、特に淡色だと凹凸の陰影が強く出て、迫力があるフィッシャーマンに仕上がりました。

When we make these complicated cables in this spongy merino wool, it makes high and low parts much more clearly than normal wool. It gives clear shadows.

また、チクチク感を全く感じない良質なメリノウールなので、薄手のインナーの上にも来て頂ける、使い勝手の良いアイテムです。

Basically, this wool does not irritate skins at all, super smooth.

It is the best way to use on the thin long sleeve t-shirt. A very useful knitwear in the cold winter.
