20AW comm. arch. Women’s から、HAND FRAMED MOHAIR C/Dのご紹介です。

既出のP/Oのカーディガンバージョンです。

Here is an introduction of HAND FRAMED MOHAIR C/D from 20AW comm. arch. Women’s line. The introduction one before is P/O and this is the cardigan version of the same material.

P/Oは、women’sラインが始まった2017AWから作り続けていますが、このカーディガンの型は意外に新しく、2019AW、昨年の冬からです。

We have been making this mohair cardigan since the last winter, 2019AW, which sounds quite new although the P/O style is from 2017AW.

こちらも素材は同じく、キッドモヘヤ、ウール、アルパカの混紡です。

キッドモヘヤとは、生後1年未満の小山羊から刈り取った、収穫量がとても少なく貴重なモヘヤで、それを40%も使用しているのでとても肌触りがよく、南米産のアルパカとの混紡なのでしっかりした弾力感もあります。

(南米産のアルパカやウールは、スポンジのような弾力感があるものが多いです。)

The material is the mixture of kid mohair, wool and alpaca.

The kid mohair is taken from less than 1 year old baby goat and the amount is very tiny every year. The alpaca is from the South America. The wool or alpaca from this kind of region has some kind of sponge like feeling.

チーゼルの起毛加工機で、職人に一枚ずつ起毛加工をして頂いております。

一枚につき、30分以上は時間を費やすとのこと。大仕事です、、そんなにたくさんは作ることができません。

A very skillful brusher works on one by one taking about half an hour on a piece.

Therefor we cannot make those items a lot.

P/Oと違うのが、C/Dはボタンが付いています。

基本的に、ボタンやファスナーなどの付属が付くアイテムは、時間をかけて、どれが一番自分の目で見てしっくりくるかと吟味するのですが、モヘヤアイテムには、この真ん中がラウンドの形で出っ張っている、結構厚みのある水牛のホーンボタンを選びました。

The big difference to P/O is buttons.

Basically, I take a couple of days to decide the buttons and fasteners to use each item and selected this horn buttons which has special thickness.
