20SS comm. arch. Men’s から LI. CO. SWEAT S/Sのご紹介です。

既出の長袖スウェットと同じく、国内で、小規模で吊り編み機を稼働させている生地メーカーの協力を得て編んで頂いた、麻60%、綿40%というとても珍しい混率の綿麻裏毛スウェットです。

Here is the introduction of LI. CO. SWEAT S/S from 20SS comm. arch. Men’s.

This fabric is the same as the item introduced before, made by one of the loop wheeler fabric makers in Japan, and the composition is linen 60% and cotton 40%, which is rare.

縫製が終わった後に、国内の染色職人さんに各色染めて頂いております。

染めていても、麻と綿に色の入り方が違うので、表面には微妙なムラが生まれます。

綿100%のカットソーでは表現できない奥行き感が生まれます。

MIST(ベージュ)は無染色になります。

After sewing is all done, we asked very skillful Japanese dyer to dye in 3 colours shown below.

The beige is undyed.

当初は、麻100%のスウェットを製作しようとしたのですが、麻ニットと違い、スウェットは裏毛の繊維が肌を刺すので、心地よく着られる混率を探した末に麻60%、綿40%にたどり着きました。

At first, we tried to make 100% linen sweat but our knitter told us not to do that because the linen fibre of loops hurt the skin. Therefore, we looked for the best ratio in terms of a comfortable and wearable sweat fabric, then reached to “linen 60%, cotton 40%”.

裏側はこんな感じです。

細番手の糸で裏毛を編んでいるので、からっとしたドライタッチの爽快感があります。肌離れが良い裏毛スウェットです。

This is the fleece side of this item.

The yarn itself is very fine so the loops on the fleece side is very smooth and had a fresh feeling rather than warm, which seems to be useful in spring and summer.
