Here is an introduction of 6W CORDUROY TROUSERS from 20AW comm. arch. Men’s.

This is a men’s item but very has been popular among women’s shops as well since 2019AW.

素材は、高級シーツなどにも使用される、程良い光沢感のあるインド綿。

comm. arch. では、特に布帛の素材として時々使用するのですが、上品な光沢とツルッとした肌触り、その反面強度があるので、布帛アイテムを製作する際に重宝する素材です。

The material is Indian cotton, which is usually use for the luxury hotel’s bedding sheets etc.

It has very good luster and a smooth feeling but very strong so we usually use this material a lot of woven fabrics.

生地の仕上げには、従来の機能の倍近い能力を持つ特別なタンブラーを使用しており、通常では出ないような膨らみを持たせています。

To finish off at the fabric maker, they use a special tumbler with very strong power so it makes unusual thickness and smoothness.

6W=6WALEとは、1インチ(約2..5cm)の間に6本畝があるコーデュロイという意味です。

ウエストには後ろにだけゴムを入れているため、フロントから見ると普通のトラウザーのように見えます。でも履くと結構な範囲のサイズをカバーできる、そしてウエストを締め付けないのでベルトも不要、というとても使い勝手の良いリラックスパンツです。

6W=6WALE means there are 6 vertical lines in 1inch=2.5cm.

We put elastic bands only on back waist so if you look from front, they look only usual pair of trouser. However when you put them on, you will feel very comfortable like in easy trousers as they cover some sizes without a belt.

フロントはファスナーで、ウエスト両サイドにはアジャスターが付いています。

ボタンは、これまた東京で100年ほどボタンを作り続けているメーカーのホーンボタン。

ちょうど良い厚みと上品な印象で、comm. arch. ではあらゆるアイテムに使用しております。

We put a fastener on front, then adjusters on both side with horn buttons.

These horn buttons are made by an about 100-year-old button maker in east Tokyo.

Their buttons are so useful with very good thickness and shape with elegant luster.

We use their buttons for a lot of our items.
