Joe Mc graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Designs in London as the first class student in 2007. He was selected by John Galliano and worked as a knitwear designer for John Galliano and Christian Dior in Paris. After moving back to Japan in 2009, he worked as a knitwear designer at several design companies and the Japanese agent of imported fashion brands. He worked as a designer, a buyer and a sales man, then from 2014AW he started the mens knitwear brands “comm. arch.” and “H. ROBINSON KNITTING”. By concentrating on knitwear, he pursues its potential which has never seen.
Joe Mc は2007年にロンドンのセントラル・セントマーチンズ美術大学 テキスタイル科ニット専攻を首席卒業。ジョン・ガリアーノのオファーを受け、パリにて、ジョン・ガリアーノとクリスチャン・ディオールの2ブランドでニットウェアデザインを担当する。2009年に日本へ帰国し、大手アパレルやデザイナーのもとでニットウェアデザイナーとして経験を積む。また、インポートブランドの代理店にて企画、バイイング、セールスなども経験したのち、2014AWからメンズニットウェアブランド、comm.archとH. ROBINSON KNITTING をスタート。ニットウェアに特化することにより、まだ見いだされていないニットウェアの可能性を国内外に発信している。
